Love Or Stone - By Carroll Bryant

LOVE OR STONE - By Carroll Bryant

What would happen if I died
Would you cry for me
If in my thoughts that I was still alive
Would you believe in me or would you just leave
Me alone
When you're long gone because I'm not pretty anymore
And I'm done
I've grown tired of you too

That's the way of the world
When the rain comes down
When the snow falls
And everyone is lost in their souls
Drowning in their lusts
Everyone's a zombie now
I know
You look right through me like I'm not there
I'm not here at all
Love or stone

What would you do if I ran away
Would you bother looking for me
If in your translucent state of mind
Do I still appeal to you
Enough to find me still to be
Your well kept secret piece of nothing
Walking like the walking dead
And talking like a president elect

That's the way of the world
When the rain comes down
When the snow falls
And everyone is lost in their souls
Drowning in their lusts
Everyone's a zombie now
I know
You look right through me like I'm not there
I'm not here at all
Love or stone

I wanna be in love or turn me into stone
I wanna be loved or be left alone
I wanna be in love

Isn't this easier than trying to catch a rainbow?
Isn't this easier than searching for a leprechauns pot of gold?
Trying to catch a rainbow
Trying to catch a rainbow

Trying to catch a cold

I wanna be in love or turn me into stone
I wanna be loved or be left alone
I wanna be in love

That's the way of the world
When the rain comes down
When the snow falls
And everyone is lost in their souls
Drowning in their lusts
Everyone's a zombie now
I know
You look right through me like I'm not there
I'm not here at all
Love or stone

Love or stone
Love or stone

Love or leave me alone

My Favorite Christmas Songs: Same Old Lang Syne

This one reminds me of someone. Every time I hear it, I get that same old feeling of emptiness inside. Even after all of these years later. I will never forget her. Even when I am dead, I will continue to think of her during the holiday season. This is why I posted it last, and the day after Christmas.

Story Time: Christmas Lasagna

So anyone who has been following me for a while knows about my mothers Christmas lasagna. It's the best lasagna on the planet. However, do you know the story behind it? Well, I'm gonna tell you. lol

My mothers lasagna didn't originate from my mother, it originated from me. Well, not me but from the man who had it handed down to him from his family. You see, when I went to Italy while serving in the Navy, I had a friend who had an uncle who lived in Naples, Italy. His uncle owned a building that stretched for about half a city block or more. On the ground level, he owned perhaps the largest fashion store in Naples, and on the second floor, the best restaurant in the world. In the basement of this huge building, 1/4 of it was turned into a night club. After going ashore with my friend, he took me to meet his uncle at the restaurant. We ate for free as his guests and that is the night I had the best lasagna ever! I complimented him and after we ate, we went downstairs to the night club, again as his guest, and we drank for free.

However, while we were there, no music could be overheard yet, in the back part of the bar I saw this huge booth with the latest in music technology. It was a DJ booth. It had two turntables, two cassette players and two 8-track players. This booth was loaded. I asked my friend about it and he had one of the waitresses fetch his uncle so I could ask him about it. My first question to his uncle, when he arrived downstairs, was, "Do you have a DJ who is going to come in later and start playing some music?"

His uncle informed me that no, he had no one on staff who could operate the booth, but then he looked at me, "Would you like to give it a try?"

"Sure." I replied, even though I knew nothing about being a DJ and certainly didn't know if I could operate the equipment inside. The uncle showed me into the booth and once the door closed behind us, all of the outside noise in the bar was gone. "It's virtually sound proof." I said.

The uncle showed me around. "If you do this," he told me, "I will let you drink for free all night."

Well, this pleased me very much because when I was in the Navy, drinking was my second favorite thing. (Women was my first favorite thing.) "It's a deal!" I replied.

Anyhow, I not only pulled it off that night, but I also went back the following night and DJ'ed for him. That second night, the place was jam packed. Word had got around quickly about the "American DJ" at this bar who took requests. I also put out a tips jar that got filled every time I DJ'ed. And by every time I mean, when we came back to Italy for the second time, I had received a three day vacation from a request chit I sent through my chain of command. We arrived on Friday morning, I left ship Friday evening around 3:00 PM and had the weekend plus that Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. I didn't have to be back on the ship until Thursday morning for 7:00 AM muster.

I spent all my time working that DJ booth for about 150.00 dollars a night in tips, plus there were a couple sleeping rooms in the basement and what was a mini locker room and a private kitchen that looked abut the same size as the kitchen in his restaurant. So I ended up sleeping in one of the rooms. I would wake up around 9 or 10 in the morning, take a shower, go up top and get something to eat at the restaurant (free of charge) and then go sight seeing (sometimes with one of the girls who worked the bar) and then by 5 or 6 in the evening, I was back at the bar at the DJ booth playing songs for our sailors. It was a sweet gig.

By the time I had to go back to the ship, I said goodbye to my new friend, the uncle, and again told him how much I loved his lasagna. (It was just about all I ate when I was there) and he said to me, "Wait, I have a gift for you." He left for a few minutes and when he returned, he handed me a piece of paper. It was the recipe for the lasagna. "It's a family recipe," he said, "keep it only in your family and share with no one else."

I agreed.

When I got back to the ship, I ended up sending the recipe to my mother to hold for me until I returned home. And when that time came, my mother refused to give me the recipe. As it turned out, she got the recipe in mid November and tried making it that Christmas and everyone loved it so, she decided to bogart the recipe for herself. That was also the first year of moms Christmas lasagna.

Mother didn't give the recipe back to me until about three or four years ago. The only reason she gave it back to me was because now I have to help make it for the family on Christmas. Now, I know what you're thinking, lasagna is lasagna. Well, no it's not. This lasagna is the best I have ever tasted. I got this recipe from an Italian chef from Italy. Nobody, and I mean nobody, makes Italian food like an Italian so don't even try to go there, and don't even say so nothing about nothing. It's just a fact.

But now I have that recipe back and now I can enjoy that Christmas lasagna any time I want. Speaking of which, I'm making it right this very moment while writing this post and I have to go now so, you all have a very merry Christmas. I'mma gonna fix, and then eat me some, Christmas lasagna.

My Favorite Christmas Songs: Last Christmas by Wham

Yes, I like this song. It's beautiful and kind of stabs at your heart a little. A relationship gone wrong and the man left alone for Christmas. I been there a time or two.

My Favorite Christmas Songs: Rockin Around The Christmas Tree

This is an oldie but goody. I like the upbeat tempo and over-all jolliness and fun of this song. It always puts a little smile on my face when I hear it and gives me an extra kick of Christmas spirit.

My Favorite Christmas Songs: Jingle Bell Rock

There has been many versions of this song, but quite frankly, my favorite version is by Hall and Oates. It's a generation thing I guess. I also like their video. Not to take anything away from the "Mean Girls" version. lol

What would Christmas be without the king of rock and roll? Being an Elvis Presley fan, you knew I had to have him in on one of my favorites.

My Favorite Christmas Songs: All I Want For Christmas Is You (Mariah Carey)

They say this song fell from number one on the Christmas charts to a remake of the McCartney classic "Wonderful Christmas Time" by the Shins. I listened to their remake and honestly, it sucks. You're still my number one Mariah. Love you!

My Favorite Christmas Songs: Do You Hear What I Hear?

The original version is fine, but I always preferred the Bing Crosby version for some reason. But I also like the version he did with David Bowie, too.

My Favorite Christmas Songs: Happy Christmas (War Is Over) John Lennon

I miss all the songs John Lennon would have written and recorded had he not been gunned down.

My Favorite Christmas Songs: Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer

When I was a kid, this was funny. It still holds special memories because I may have been the only kid in history who actually wished my grandmother would have gotten run over by a reindeer. I don't think my granny cared for me much. That's sad, if you allowed it to be, but I looked on the Brightside, I didn't have to put up with pinched cheeks or granny breath and kisses. Ha-ha.

Aggressive Pleasure - By Carroll Bryant

AGGRESSIVE PLEASURE - By Carroll Bryant

What is it like to be a shadow dancer
Roaming in the night and hunting for your food
I can see in time and blow your mind forever
Don't look so surprised when the devil finally finds you

I heard your screams
Your footsteps close behind me
I didn't care
Sometimes I play the fool
What does it mean
If the wind won't come so easy
It's everywhere and always on the loose

You can't stop it
You can only beg for mercy
You can't tame it or save it from itself
So just drop it
The pleasure is aggressive
You can't feel it when you live inside of someone else

What can you say when the sex just leaves you speechless
You can't throw away the glory of the touch
Caught up in the chase and we can never catch the crazy
It lurks inside our brains and it all gets to be too much

I learned your ways by watching from a distance
You never knew because I believe in sorrow
Where did it go
If not the heart to be your savior
We'll never know and now you know we lost tomorrow

You can't stop it
You can only beg for mercy
You can't tame it or save it from itself
So just drop it
The pleasure is aggressive
You can't feel it when you live inside of someone else

Hour by hour it passes you by while you're sitting still
The love you thought would never leave
You can't beat its power when it fights against your will
Knocking you to your knees

She's leaving you for good now

I heard your screams
Your footsteps close behind me
I didn't care
Sometimes I play the fool
I can see in time and blow your mind forever
Don't look so surprised when the devil finally finds you

You can't stop it
You can only beg for mercy
You can't tame it or save it from itself
So just drop it
The pleasure is aggressive
You can't feel it when you live inside of someone else

The pleasure is aggressive
The pleasure is aggressive
The pleasure is aggressive

Now your soul becomes your hell

My Favorite Christmas Songs: Feliz Navidad

When I was a boy, one of my favorite things was riding in the car with momma on Christmas Eve, on our way to see family and friends. We had the radio turned up and singing to the Christmas songs that were playing. Here is one of my favorites.

DVD Review: Elf / Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer

I wanted to do a couple of Christmas DVD reviews and I wanted to start with a couple of my all time favorites.

Let's start with one that quickly became one of my all time favorites the moment I first saw it. ELF - starring Will Ferrell.

A baby at an orphanage crawls into Santa's toy bag and soon finds himself in the North Pole living with Santa and his elves. He grows up believing he is an elf despite the fact that he is more than twice the size of all the other elves. He was named Buddy (Will Ferrell) when he was first discovered by Santa that fateful Christmas Eve.

Once Buddy discovers he is an orphan, he sets out to find his real father who lives in New York City. He gets hired by his father to work at his publishing company but gets in his fathers way and becomes a problem so his father fires him and Buddy, walks across the street to a toy store and lands himself another job, meets his future wife, and gets into more trouble until Christmas Eve arrives and he goes to rescue Santa Claus who crashed landed in Central Park while distributing presents. The Christmas spirit gets a boost at the end and quite frankly, I just found this movie sweet and funny. It also stars James Caan, Ed Asner, and Bob Newhart. If you have kids and they haven't seen this movie, buy it and let them see it! lol It's awesome.

My rating: I give this two thumbs up and a solid 8.5 stars out of ten stars. You just won't go wrong with this one.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

RUDOLPH THE RED NOSED REINDEER is the ultimate all time classic children's Christmas show. I watched it as a kid and now I own the DVD. I'm pretty sure everyone in America has watched this by now, or at least I hope so because it is FANTASTIC!

Rudolph is enjoying playtime with the other reindeer while playing reindeer games when after receiving a kiss from a doe, he goes off half cocked, flying all over the place when the cover on his nose, which his father placed on him, comes off, revealing his shiny red nose. Told that he can no longer play reindeer games, he is cast aside and rejected. Determined to find his way in life, Rudolph sneaks off one night and runs away. In doing so, he meets up with a runaway elf who also was rejected by his peers because he wanted to be a dentist.

Together they roam the North Pole looking for a place to belong when they run into a prospector. The trio soon finds themselves on the island of misfit toys but ironically, being misfits themselves, they were not allowed to stay on the island, however, they were allowed to spend the night, which because of his nose, Rudolph decides to sneak away when the other two fall asleep because he feared his nose would lead the snow monster to them.

Ultimately, Rudolph saves the day when he rescues his mother, father, and the pretty doe who kissed him at the reindeer games when they went out to search for him - with the help of the elf and the prospector. Then he goes on to lead Santa's sleigh. Come on, you know how the story goes.

My rating? ... A PERFECT TEN !!!!!

My Brain - By Carroll Bryant

MY BRAIN - By Carroll Bryant

I can see in arithmetic sequence
I can hear in astrological distance
A photographic institution or invention
Waves of thought like a radio revolution

Atomic bombs dropped in my delusions
Murder at will causes me confusion
Pony up for this historical conclusion
My bare feet is my only intrusion

My brain is in another dimension
My brain is in another suspension
My brain is living on another plane
My brain is living in another world

Excuse me as I make another calculation
Science is in need of many explanations
There is no need for me to go on vacation
My thoughts are aways on the thinking

My brain is in another dimension
My brain is in another suspension
My brain is living on another plane
My brain is living in another world

It's all about finding all of the solutions
E equals MC squared kind of pollution
It's a thing where you can only be chosen
There, life is a dime a dozen

My brain is in another dimension
My brain is in another suspension
My brain is living on another plane
My brain is living in another world

My brain is in another dimension
My brain is in another suspension
My brain is living on another plane
My brain is living in another world

Carroll's Journey: Life Is Good

How good can things get? Well, if you're me, pretty damn good sometimes. Everything is rocking and I am about as happy as a song being sung around the world. There's nothing to complain about. If you ask me, I am having way too much fun and definitely have way too much time on my hands (As always).

I had quite the awesome Thanksgiving. I spent it alone. And what a great time I had! lol Seriously, it's been quite some time since I ever spent a Thanksgiving by myself. Maybe never. But let me tell you, it is everything it was expected to be and then some. I cooked my own food, and had no line to wait in when it came time to eat. Everything was cooked to my perfection / liking. I watched football, football and more football. Watched some internet porn. (Never did that before on Thanksgiving.) Ha-ha. Had some weather stripping put on my door so I took care of that little problem for the upcoming winter. Had no traffic to deal with. Took a couple of naps. :)

So why post about this? I don't know. I suppose I wanted to share it in hopes that I wasn't the only one who had a great Thanksgiving. I didn't have to deal with family drama. That's always a plus. And now I am wondering if it could be so great if I spend Christmas alone too. I already know my New Years Eve will be rocking. I have some people coming over to play some strip poker. That will be interesting ... and no, I am not going to post about that so, no pictures request. lol

I just have such an amazing life right now. I am so very lucky in so many ways. I just wanted to assure myself that I truly do appreciate this gift of mine. I really do also hope all of you are having a wonderful time while you're here on this planet. Not so much the bad people, like internet bullies, criminals and such. I hope those people are having a miserable time. But to all of you good, hard working, dedicated people, I hope you are enjoying your life as I am. It's just a great life. I really do not know what more I could ever wish for. Maybe for a soul-mate but you know, that's optional for me.

I dedicate this song to me.

Legend Of Geronimo (Blood Moon) - By Carroll Bryant

LEGEND OF GERONIMO (BLOOD MOON) - By Carroll Bryant

Red moon
Lead my people to freedom
Blood moon
Right down to their final breath
Red moon
And we fight for what we believe in
Blood moon
Victory in death

There can be no visible weakness
We must be strong as the white man means us harm
There can be no time for the sickness
The dancing rain
No whiskey man

Red moon
Lead my people to freedom
Blood moon
Right down to their final breath
Red moon
And we fight for what we believe in
Blood moon
Victory in death

The peace pipe helps with reflection
War paint on faces
This is our addiction
Our infliction
The ghosts of our past returns only to haunt us
This is our infection now

Red moon
Lead my people to freedom
Blood moon
Right down to their final breath
Red moon
And we fight for what we believe in
Blood moon
Victory in death

Our brightest future is the mix of our flesh
With the spirit touch of our kin
They are visiting again
This is our legend
We stand with the wind living off the land
Mother Earth forgive us
The buffalo are dying

Red moon
Lead my people to freedom
Blood moon
Right down to their final breath
Red moon
And we fight for what we believe in
Blood moon
Victory in death

Victory is death
Mother Earth forgive us

My Funeral - By Carroll Bryant

MY FUNERAL - By Carroll Bryant

In a world gone crazy
One man stands alone
Waging war against his technology
Planning the leave that will take him home

In a world gone mad
One man versus society
Planting the seeds of your dirty little secrets
Waging war against the gods of eternity

All we can do is live and die
To both of them to wonder why
There is no end and nowhere to go
Talk to you later at my funeral

In a world gone crazy
One man goes insane
Taking his chances once way too often
Paying a debt that doesn't pain for his pain

In a world gone mad
One man versus the casualties
Drinking the wine with bittersweet difference
Waging war against seraphic serenity

All we can prove is live and die
To what that means will make you cry
There is no end and nowhere to go
To seek the truth
Here is my funeral

I don't have to be pathetic to all that I see
I don't choose to be theistic
I just don't believe
I don't try to be so different just to be the same
I don't need an obituary just so that I can have a name

In a world gone crazy
One man becomes a crime
Breathing in all of your oxygen
Changing the thoughts of your perverted mind

In a world gone mad
One man versus insanity
Counting his blessings with a gun on your children
Waging war against the pope and the presidency

All we can do is live and die
To what we are and all we try
To face the end with nowhere to go
In search of the future here at my funeral

All we can do is live and die
To both of them to wonder why
There is no end and nowhere to go
Talk to you later at my funeral

Sexually Addicted To You - By Carroll Bryant

SEXUALLY ADDICTED TO YOU - Written by Carroll Bryant

The fever is burning hot so deep into the night
That my thoughts are carving holes in the sky
So wrap yourself around me, Lacey, and hold on tight
Gonna give love suicide a try

I can make you happen instantly at will
You are satisfaction inside of a thrill

We can make it happen if you wanna believe
Use our imaginations to get that good release

I'm sexually addicted to you
Give me my nourishment
You're my favorite food
I'm acting like a werewolf howling at the moon
Sexually addicted to you

Sexually addicted

You got me down on the floor begging pretty please
So do with me whatever you so care
Take a bite of my heart and really spit on me
Give it to me good truth or dare

I can make you happen just by closing my eyes
You got the power in between those creamy thighs

We can make it happen if you know what I mean
Love's never been so dirty as it is in my dreams

I'm sexually addicted to you
Give me my nourishment
You're my favorite food
I'm acting like a werewolf howling at the moon
Sexually addicted to you

Sexually addicted

I can make you happen instantly at will
You are satisfaction inside of a thrill

We can make it happen if you wanna believe
Use our imaginations to get that good release

I can make you happen just by closing my eyes
You got the power in between those creamy thighs

We can make it happen if you know what I mean
Love's never been so dirty as it is in my dreams

I'm sexually addicted to you
Give me my nourishment
You're my favorite food
I'm acting like a werewolf howling at the moon
Sexually addicted to you

I'm sexually addicted to you
Give me my nourishment
You're my favorite food
I'm acting like a werewolf howling at the moon
Sexually addicted to you

Breaking Dawn - By Carroll Bryant

Breaking Dawn - By Carroll Bryant

Just another memory that I don't wanna need
So take it back and keep it
Dizzy is the dream

Another catastrophe falling down on top of me
You make it so that I can't breathe
I can't scream
Tell me what you mean to me

Everything is gone
Love is breaking dawn
You come and you go
I know that you know the night's too slow
Over and over again
Until it's time for you to leave

Just another soft goodbye that I don't even wanna try
So take it back and keep it
Drowning in your sighs

Another amphetamine I swallow deep inside of me
You make it so that I get so angry
Jealously crazy
Tell me what you want from me

Everything is gone
Love is breaking dawn
You come and you go
I know you know the night's too slow

Love is breaking dawn
Everything is gone
You come and you go
I know that you know the night's too slow
Over and over again
Until it's time for you to leave

I get that funky fever in the night
Your spell is so hard to break
I get pissed off inside the fire
To hell with what you take
From me
My soul
To hell with you

Just another memory that I don't wanna need
So take it back and keep it

Everything is gone
Love is breaking dawn
You come and you go
I know that you know the night's too slow

Love is breaking dawn
Everything is gone
You come and you go
I know that you know the night's too slow
Over and over again
Until it's time for you to leave

You took my hand and led me astray

Everything is gone
Love is breaking dawn

Love is breaking dawn
Everything is gone

Flowers For ISIS - By Carroll Bryant

FLOWERS FOR ISIS - By Carroll Bryant

A poor mans Hillary Clinton
Another Obama wannabe
No, wait! It's another bored monkey
Or a 21st century make believe hippy

Everybody seems to live for the chance
To tell someone else what to do
Or put them down
I'm a democrat and my shit doesn't stink
Tell them how to live their life like a clown

And they give flowers to the terrorists
A wink and a smile and blow a kiss to the wind
Flowers for the terrorists
It kind of makes you to never want to vote again
For communists

A white house painted black
Another wasted presidency
No, wait! It's a dog day afternoon
Holding hostage all of our normalcy

Everybody seems to give their advice for free
In the snarky way that they can only give it
And still put you down
I'm a democrat and my farts are environmentally green
Best I've ever smelt or you have ever seen

And they give flowers to the terrorists
A wink and a smile and blow a kiss to the wind
Flowers for the terrorists
It kind of makes you to never want to vote again
For the communists

They want an education that money just can't buy
Still blaming Bush and friends for everything
While sitting back and doing nothing
They can't wait to give you their best alibi
I think they've gone completely mad or absolutely crazy
Still blaming Fox and Friends
Nuts to the stupid end

A poor mans Hillary Clinton
Another Obama wannabe
No, wait! It's another bored monkey
Or a 21st century make believe hippy

Still blaming the previous administration

And they give flowers to the terrorists
A wink and a smile and blow a kiss to the wind
Flowers for the terrorists
It kind of makes you to never want to vote again
For the stupid communists
Socialists
Flowers for the terrorists

Secrets Of My Songs #13 (Whispers Wind)

"Whispers In The Wind" was another "little sister" inspired song. The inspiration came one night while I was driving her and her best friend - at that time - home after gymnastics practice. The two girls were in the back seat talking about a boy my sister liked but never revealed this to the boy in question. Eventually, I just asked her, "So why don't you just tell him you like him?" And was that ever a foolish question. Her response was swift and direct. "I don't want to ruin a perfectly good friendship if he doesn't feel the same."

Okay, that kind of made a little bit of sense. But only a little bit. However, after dropping her friend off and getting my sister home, I ended up reflecting on that conversation later that evening and before you know it, I penned the words for the song with the music playing in my head. It also became the first song I ever worked on or had recorded in the studio. When I decided to start doing my songs and I had to pick the first one, this one was really the only one I could consider to record first.

Hillary Clinton - By Carroll Bryant

Living up to the assassination
People are dancing on the grave
Caught up in this investigation
Everyone is everybody's slave

You never mean the words you're saying
Speak no evil when you don't understand
Even atheists are down and praying
President elect and we'll be damned

Sinner to sinner
Love the hate but hate the sin
Winner, winner, chicken dinner
Here we go again

Smoke and mirrors trump the evidence
Bitter pills are hard to taste
Federal laws given no credence
Attitudes can be easy to waste

Sinner to sinner
Love the hate but hate the sin
Winner, winner, chicken dinner
Here we go again

Oh, you're so like him
Say his name
Oh, just go away
You're so insane

Your life is the ultimate sin

 Living up to the procrastination
Where socialism rules
Pulling the trigger on America's freedom
Laughing at your fools

Sinner to sinner
Love the hate but hate the sin
Winner, winner, chicken dinner
Here we go again

Sinner to sinner
Love the hate but hate the sin
Winner, winner, chicken dinner
Here we go again

Truth is this much

Secrets Of My Songs #12 (Simple Life)

This song has some truth and some fiction in it. The truth is, I got the inspiration for it after eating supper with my parents one summer evening at the lake house back around 2005 or so. They lived in Pike County at the time (Lake White) while I lived in Chillicothe and was working part-time with Goodwill Industries. I wanted to do something for the community before I retired and working for Goodwill was a good way to help the community. I drove mentally disabled adults to their jobs and back home. I also drove elderly and other disabled people to their hospital appointments and or to do personal shopping. I made a lot of friends in that job but once I called it quits on working "real" jobs, I relocated to Piketon to be closer to my mom and stepdad. Then about two years later, they moved back to Chillicothe. "Hey, what's the big deal?" I never have gone hunting. Never owned a coon dog. And I don't really have "Christian faith". That would be the fiction part. I do listen to Patsy Cline. I did drive route 5 for my Goodwill job, however, it wasn't called state route 105, but state route 104.

Nobody Told Me - By Carroll Bryant

Nobody told me
That you were so lonely
Waiting to love me
Saying you need me
Oh, baby, if only

Nobody saw me
A love just like the sea
So big that you can't even see
Oh, baby, if only

If only

I feel it as it comes slamming down
Right into the ground
But there's no sound at all
Just another star that falls

I know it when you know what's going around
And you can't be found
Nowhere or there at all
Everything is done
Everyone is gone
Now do you believe me?

Nobody told me
Nobody told me
Nobody told me

I feel it as it comes slamming down
Right into the ground
But there's no sound at all
Just another star that falls

I know it when you know what's going around
And you can't be found
Nowhere or there at all
Everything is done
Everyone is gone
Now do you believe me?

Nobody told me
That you were so lonely
Waiting to love me
Saying you need me
Oh, baby, if only

If only

Nobody told me

Draft Kings & Fan Duel: Not Real Fantasy Games

You may have seen their commercials. If you are into sports, then I know you have. If you are into fantasy sports / games, like I am, then it's plastered everywhere you go online to play your games. I play in ESPN leagues, and trust me, the ads pop up everywhere I go when I sign in. They are called Draft Kings and Fan Duel and ... they are not real fantasy sports games, they are gambling sites. And why they haven't been shut down by the government is beyond me. Hey, take my word for it, I play fantasy football and have played it for the past ten years, this is my 11th year, and I would know real fantasy football when I see it, and these two websites are not real fantasy sports. THEY ARE GAMBLING SITES!

Maybe Donald Trump is right, maybe our political leaders are just plain stupid, or too corrupt, because the government lists these sites as fantasy football and that it takes skill to play it. Believe me, there is zero percent of skill required to play any fantasy games. It is all 100 percent luck / chance, and nothing else. Oh sure, it helps to have knowledge of the game you wish to play like, football fantasy. To know all the rosters of all NFL teams, the injury lists, and things like that can help you draft a good team but you cannot control who plays in the real games, and you cannot control how they perform in the games and you cannot control if they get injured. It's all CHANCE! And the government determines that games of chance is gambling while games of skill is not. And again, fantasy sports games are not games of skill, they are games of chance.

We really do need to stop being such a dumb society. We have to start to calling things exactly what they are. And while it offends me greatly to call fantasy sports games a "skill" and not what it really is, which is gambling, the fact that ESPN advertises this garbage proves that ESPN has no morality or scruples. Shame on them, too.

Millions of people are addicted to gambling and while these two sites, and many more like them, continue to claim of all the money you can win, they never mention all the money you can lose. Because it's gambling. That's what gambling is. For every person who wins these so called millions there are nine others who lost their life savings. But you don't ever hear about those stories, do you? That's because to say it would be admitting that Fan Duel and Draft Kings are gambling sites and not real fantasy sports games sites.

It doesn't take a genius to know that anytime you have to pay money to play something, with a chance to win more money, it is gambling! Hey, if you want to bet me that you can run faster than me then isn't that gambling? I mean, I could train to get faster but is running really a skill? No, it isn't, but running through an obstacle course is a skill. The point is, the government needs to shut down any and all sites like Draft Kings and Fan Duel.

Forget that recently there was a story about how one of these sites employees released insider information and won one million dollars in the process. It is corruption through and through. If you want to play real fantasy sports games, then go play because it is fun. But if you want to gamble and risk your life savings then go to Draft Kings or Fan Duel and bet it all, who knows, you might win, then again, you just might lose - after all - it is gambling. And if that is your thing then Draft Kings and Fan Duel is for you. But rest assured, these sites are gambling sites. There is no skill to it. It's all CHANCE.
